What are the conventions of a Vox Pops?
Latin- voice
of the people. Vox pops is used to learn opinions, we will be using it to
understand what our audience knows and thinks about thrillers.
What makes up a Vox Pop?
- Superimpose the question at the beginning do not ask the question.
- Each person who answers superimpose their name, age and occupation at the bottom.
- Set in a busy area
- Medium close up of each respondent
- Respondent holds and indirect gaze
- Respondent tends to be on the right hand side looking left off screen
- Each person is on screen for a max. of 3 seconds
